Carpet cleaning

How does it work? In simple terms, we use a powerful machine capable of 4ooPSI that injects a solution of hot water and detergent into the carpet. The mixture is then powerfully extracted by the machine, leaving the carpets looking and smelling like new, but most importantly, removing as much of the soil and microbes as possible.

And here's how we do it..

1) Safe Moving of Furniture so that cleaning (unless agreed otherwise)
is of the whole room. The furniture moved will be that no heavier for a single operative.

2) Pre Vacuuming extensively to remove loose debris and to move the carpet fibres into an upright position.

3) Pre Spotting of stains identified as potentially stubborn/problematic is carried out for the best results.

5) A fast acting reagent is applied to loosen soilage. (this is left to dwell on the carpet/upholstery for a sufficient period to work )

6) Agitation is carried out. This is where the pre-spray is rubbed into the area, mixing the dirt/stains and cleaning spray into one suspended solution.

7) Hot Water Extraction is now used to clean the carpet.

8) Safe replacing of furniture and where required protector pads placed beneath to prevent transfer of furniture stains to the damp carpet.

Stain Protection
Further to carpet cleaning, we offer a stain and allergy protection service for your carpet.
We use a quick drying allergy free stain-protector for carpet, upholstery, sauvage, aniline, nubuck and suede leathers plus fabrics and rugs that is formulated to resist staining and soiling.

Why use it?
Once applied, the stain protector forms an invisible guard within the carpet and fabric that will provide protection from everyday spillage stains. Dirt and grit will not be able to stick to the fibres, meaning daily maintenance is far easier.

This protection will not affect the colour, feel or texture of even the finest fabrics and will not affect existing fire retardant properties.

Allergy Protection
Our allergy protection service treats textiles and carpets using Actigard, a water based product for the removal and protection against further growth of dust mites and fungal moulds. Applicable to all new and existing furnishings including those with stain resistant finishes.

Typical usage areas include carpet, rugs, upholstery, beds, valances, curtains and vehicle upholstery.

Why use it?
Millions of these household dust mites and their excrement are to be found in every home. Dust mite allergies together with bacteria and fungal moulds can be directly linked to over 50% of all asthmatic diseases. Other related allergies include eczema, rhinitis (hayfever), sinusitis, watery eyes and coughs.

After treatment, dust mites, mould, fungi and bacteria cannot develop. Unlike other products that have a time-limited lifespan, Actigard remains effective continuously. As with ALL products of this type, a thorough washing process will remove them and they should be re-applied for continuous protection.
